HAN University of Applied Sciences is one of the largest and best universities in Netherlands. Especially, in terms of applied sciences.

It has over 36,000 students and 4,000 staffs. HAN is particularly that knowledge institute found in Gelderland, it has campuses in Arnhem and Nijmegen.

On the 1st of February 1996, HAN conglomerate was established. Then, it became the large, broad based educational institution. Thereafter, the number of students increased, while the cost decreased.
